Ideal International Institute of Education has propelled Malappuram District to finish in 2nd place with 146 points in the State Athletics Championships held at Calicut. With 66 points as an individual school, Ideal bagged the top position in the state.
This is the first time in the 64 year history of School Sports Athletics that Malappuram District has achieved its highest position of 2nd among the 14 districts in Kerala. The role played by Ideal School has been huge for this surge to the 2nd position. Ideal School has been winning the district championship for many years, but this is the first time it is winning the championship at the state level. The children of Ideal School have made this victory possible through their tremendous amount of hard work and clear vision thereby emulating the more popular schools from Palakkad and Ernakulam who had been in the forefront of winning school championships till last year.
